On ‘You Were Meant For Me’, you can clearly hear Jewel’s long-time friend and co-writer Steve Poltz. ‘Little Sister’ was even faster-paced than the album version while the gorgeous ‘Angel Standing By’ had slightly different harmony arrangements. I was surprised to learn that the original ‘Foolish Games’ demo was written on guitar and was substantially longer than the album version, with additional verses too.
